Crestview Fundraiser For Pastor Campos Overwhelming!
Volunteers Scott Redmon, Doug Pittman and Artie Hubbard kept the spaghetti coming at the special fundraiser.
 Pastor Mel Campos, the Minister of Evangelism and Outreach at Crestview Baptist Church was diagnosed with bone and stomach cancer a few weeks ago. After receiving the news his church, family and friends came together to honor and hold a fundraiser for him. A spaghetti dinner was held at the Masonic Lodge in Boiling Springs on Saturday, August 18. The support received was overwhelming. From 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. well over 1100 dinners were served and over $20,000 was raised. It was indicative of what people think about Mel Campos. Like Mel, the event was an inspiration full of faith and determination.
