Cross Trail Outfitters Holds Sportsman’s Banquet
CTO member Parker Mims gets some pointers from professional archery instructor Jim Vennera.
  On Saturday, June 1st, the Cross Trail Outfitters (Foothills Chapter) came together at the Buffalo Baptist Church Fellowship Hall to celebrate their first sportsman’s banquet. The chapter was just formed this past year and started with eight boys. It now has sixty-seven.
  CTO is a Christian youth hunting & fishing club for boys and young men ages 7 through 20 and serves the Foothills area of North Carolina.  Cross Trail Outfitters’ mission is “Guiding the next generation to Christ through the outdoors”. CTO is an independent and inter-denominational ministry. They are not formally linked to any denomination other than the Biblical Church - that is, the body of Christ.
  At the banquet, over 170 people were in attendance. There were raffles, an auction and a silent auction, as well as music by The Buzzards, which consists of band members Tripp Camp, Matt Dedmon and Chris Dedmon. A homemade barbecue dinner and dessert was served.
