Crystal Charmaine Byers, 40, of 3656 West Dixon Blvd Trailer 15 Shelby, NC passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2020 Atrium Health- Cleveland in Shelby, NC.

She was born on November 4, 1979 in Cleveland County, NC to Hazel Byers Williamson and the late Ardell Collins.

Crystal was a member of Ramseur Baptist Church. She attended the Adventure House for 17 years where she traveled with them to be an advocate for mental health. She loved her "family" there. Crystal will be remembered for her sweet personality and her giving spirit.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Travis Byers; her grandparents, Bruce and Louise Byers; great-grandmother, Lydia Martin; two uncles, Charlie Byers and Leroy Byers and aunt, Lois Byers.

She leaves to cherish fond and lasting memories to her mother, Hazel Williams; one son, DeVonte Byers; one daughter, Makayla Byers both of the home; two brothers, Dewayne Byers (Kesha) of Kingstown, NC and Christopher Byers (Shana), her twin of Charlotte, NC; one granddaughter, Aiyana Leach; her grandmother, Mae Collins of Charlotte, NC; three nieces, Demetria Byers, Elexus Staley and Gianna Byers; special cousins, Aleta Byers, Farrion Daniels (Alonzo), Kimberly Byers, Contina Wilson (Rodney) and Sherica Byers; aunts, Eugenia Byers Leary, Lula Mae Boston and Yvonne Edwards; great aunts, Sarah Martin and Inez Earl; uncles, John Byers, Thomas Byers, Jay Collins and Roger Collins; childhood friend, Riccardo Petty and a host of other relatives and friends.

The service for Crystal will be private. She may be viewed at Ramseur Baptist Church from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, August 1, 2020. Burial will take place at Ramseur Baptist Church Cemetery.
