Cynthia Lee O'Neal Armstrong, age 59 of Hickory passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at her residence. She was born October 14, 1958 to Dorothy Jones O'Neal and the late Edward O'Neal. Cindy was retired from the textile industry. She enjoyed watching TV, especially The Price is Right and spending time with family.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Connie Sanges and Donna O'Neal.
In addition to her mother, survivors include her children, Jeremy Jones of New Georgia, GA, William Hancock and spouse, Jeffery Malloch of Bangor, ME, Jesse Wendt and wife, Lilly of Kennesaw, GA, and Joseph Waiton and wife, Emily of Cherryville; Joseph's father and her friend, Jay Waiton of Hickory; brother, Eugene O'Neal of Georgia; grandchildren, Joshua, Julie, Joseph, and Jacob Jones; and one grandchild and one great grandchild on the way.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
