Daniel "Dan" Shoemaker, 76, died Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland.

Born in Montgomery County, MD, he was the son of the late Arthur and Georgie Smith Shoemaker.

Dan was active and very involved in the Hope Tract Ministry.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his four brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Sherrill McGrath Shoemaker, of the home; daughters, Deborah Riddle and husband Joel of Charlotte and Dina Arney and husband Stephen of Ottowa, KS; son, Daniel Shoemaker of Shelby; sister, Wanda Shoemaker of MD; brother, Kenny Shoemaker and wife Marta of MD; and six grandchildren. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM, Saturday, October 23, 2021 at Springmore Baptist Church, with Pastor Stephen Arney officiating.
