Daniel Jones, 67, of 505 Seven Springs Road, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, November 6th, 2022, at Spartanburg Medical Center.

Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the husband of Gwendolyn Sharpe Jones and the son of the late Daniel and Ruth Fryer Jones.

Daniel formerly worked at Nestle and Magnolia Finishing. He was a member of Youngs Grove Baptist Church, where he served as trustee and church treasurer. He was always ready to offer a ride to someone, or run an errand. He had a big smile and could get anyone to laugh with his witty personality. He loved to capture precious memories with his camera that he constantly carried. He loved music and could be heard humming at any given moment. He also was a United States Air Force veteran.

In addition to his loving wife, surviving Mr. Jones are four children; Phillip Jones, Jonica Sharpe (Tennesia), Jamaal Sharpe (Deandra), Janeeka Miller (Mitchell); four sisters; Margaret Swindler, Mary Jones, Pauleth Griffin; eight grandchildren; Jeremiah Sims, Jamaria Sharpe, Jamaal Sharpe Jr., Ja''Zaria Sharpe, Ja''Noah Sharpe, Jancsi Miller, Janos Miller, Logan Jones; and one great-grandson.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 12th, 2022, from 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Youngs Grove Baptist Church. Funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 pm with Dr. Larry J. Brooks presiding. Interment will be in the Youngs Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
