Daniel Lee Willis, of Lawndale, North Carolina, passed away on August 20th, 2026, at the age of 24. Daniel was born to his father, Jeremy Willis of Lawndale, North Carolina and his mother, Shirley Young of Shelby, North Carolina in Cleveland County, North Carolina on March 26th, 2002. Daniel was known as kind-hearted, dedicated, and driven by God.

In addition to his father and mother, Daniel is survived by his wife and daughter, Kaitlin and Emersyn Willis; his brothers, Tyler Willis and wife Lauren, Lucas Willis and wife Lillian; grandparents, Bobby and Ellie Beason, and Marie Oliver; great-grandfather, Jessie Willis; numerous beloved nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins; and many close friends.

Daniel was preceded in death by his great grandmothers, Elsie Willis and Jean Street, and Aunts and Uncles.

Daniel's journey on Earth was nothing short of a testament to his servitude to God. Daniel was devoted and humble. Daniel's favorite thing to do was to work and help other people. He had a servant's heart and treated everyone he met with kindness. Although his life was short-lived, he impacted so many people throughout his life with his abundance of love and compassion.

Daniel's greatest treasure was his daughter, Emersyn. He loved and cherished his daughter from the moment they were united.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at New Beginnings Church, Fallston. The funeral service will follow right after at 2:00 pm.
