Danny Gene Lane born July 26, 1973, age 43, of Rutherfordton, went to his Heavenly home on December 3, 2016. Danny is the son of Judy Lane and the late Bud Lane.

Danny was an avid reader. He went to R-S Central High School and was an electrician. He had a passion for electrical work. He learned his trade from his Dad.

Danny was loved by family and friends. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sisters, Sherry Suttle and husband Marty of Bostic, Susan McEntire and husband Randy of Rutherfordton, and Rachel Lane of the home.

Funeral services will be held 3PM Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Crowe's Mortuary with Rev. Tom Runyon and Rev. Matthew Sparks officiating. Interment will be in Fellowship Baptist Church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of Rutherford County, PO Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043.
