Danny Radford, age 64, of Sunset Beach, NC, died Tuesday, February 5, 2019 at his residence.
Danny was born July 13, 1954 in Cleveland County, NC, to the late Lester Radford and Frances Harris Radford. He worked for Cone Mills-Haynes Plant for many years. Danny's life was centered around his family and making sure that they were taken care of. He loved each of them dearly.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of thirty-two years, Mischa Lane Radford; two daughters, Crystal Radford Hardin (Kevin) of Caroleen and Shena Radford Torminia (Scotty) of Mississippi; two sons, Danny Shane Radford (Stacey) of Florida and Brandon Radford of Sunset Beach; brother, Terry Lee Radford, Sr. of Connelly Springs, NC. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, Kriston Merrill (Josh), Staley Thompson, Cody Thompson (Brooke), Destiny Torminia, Austin Torminia, Katelyn Torminia (Caleb), Kortland Radford, Charity Radford, Bella Radford, Connor Radford, Kelsey Bruner, Dakoda Bruner, Devin Bruner, Rocky Bruner; eight great-grandchildren, Aaliyah, Natalie, Leland, Mason, Peyton, River, Mila and Bentley; many precious nieces and nephews and many close friends that were just like family.
The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ricky Poteat officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home. At other times they will be gathered at 158 Dogwood Valley Road, Forest City, NC.
