Darla Towery Sisk, 68, passed away on February 14, 2025, at Mission Hospital, in Asheville, NC.

She was born on January 29, 1957, in Rutherford County and was a daughter of the late Talmadge Lindbergh and Elizabeth Whisenant Towery. She was retired from PPG and was a member of First Broad Baptist Church, Bostic. She loved to do crafts, where she would take things and make them beautiful.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Dwight Towery; brother-in-law, James Sisk.

Darla is survived by loving husband of thirty-five years Donald Ray Sisk; son, Brandon Towery and wife Hope of Polkville; stepson, Donnie Sisk and wife Towana of Lawndale; brother, Michael Towery of Golden Valley; sister, Tamara Towery Grayson, of Casar; two sisters-in-law, Phyllis Mellon of Casar and Mary Sisk of Casar; one granddaughter, Sage Elizabeth Towery; three step grandchildren, Brooklyn Sisk, Noah Sisk and wife Alena, and Eli Sisk; and step great granddaughter, Natalyn Teer.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM at First Broad Baptist Church with the Rev. Kevin Towery and Rev Steve Chastain officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
