David Aaron Allen, 63, of Flint Hill Church Road, Shelby, passed away
Monday, January 8, 2018 at his residence surrounded by his family.

Born December 25, 1954 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late Aaron
Allen and Frances Wells. He was employed with Homeland Security and was a
member of Mt. Sinai Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Debra Shook Allen; step mother,
Fuchia Putnam of Shelby; four sons, Willie Roseman and wife, Michelle of
Conover, Chris Allen and wife, Nikki of South Carolina, Justin Allen of
Bessemer City and Jimmy Allen and fiancée, Alyssa of Shelby; two daughters,
Stephanie Ferrante and husband, Jim of Las Vegas, Nevada and Stacey Allen
and fiance, Brian of Shelby; two grandchildren, Harley Allen of Clermont,
Florida and Maddie Roseman of Conover; a brother, Donnie Allen of Shelby and
four sisters, Sylvia Musgrave of McBee, SC; Tammy Harmon of Jacksonville;
Rebecca Rhinehardt of Shelby and Paula Tallent of Shelby.

Visitation will be 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Thursday at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church

A funeral service will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church
with Rev. Tim Trexler officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
