David Boyd Wicks, 69 of Hywood Road, Casar, passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.

Born in Cherokee County, SC on November 2, 1953, he was the son of the late William Boyd Wicks and Louise Isler Wicks. David worked for 55 years in local and state fairs doing concessions.

Survivors include a special friend and care giver, Linda Peterson of Shelby.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.
