David Carroll Blanton, 75, native of Cleveland County, NC, passed away on Friday, August 26, 2022 at Atrium Healthcare Charlotte. He is predeceased by his spouse, Jimmie L. Blanton; father, John A. Blanton, Jr.

David leaves to cherish his memories his daughters, Sherri Lowery and husband, Shawn Lowery of Blacksburg, SC and Wendy Dendy of Fallston, NC; mother, Francis D. Blanton of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Kelsie Clary and fiance', Dusty Ruppe of Kings Mountan, NC, Logan Warren and fiance', Austin McGonagle of Conover, NC, Connor and Kaylee Dendy of Fallston, NC; great-grandchildren, Brayleigh McGonagle and Kenzleigh McGonagle both of Conover, NC; sister, Tina and husband Lou DeRobertis of Pennsylvania.

He was a Godly man, loved his family very much. He worked at Packaging and Solutions in Shelby, NC and rebuilt scales. He adored his dog, Bella. He enjoyed making walking canes from scratch to give people in need. He loved to go to Cherokee Mountains in the Fall and look in the shops. He was always here for you if you needed him. He would do anything in the world for you. Best dad ever!!
