David Eugene Hawes, 57, of Blacksburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at his home.

Born in Cleveland County, on October 15, 1965, he was a son of the late William Franklin Hawes and Betty Jean Willis Hawes.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Hawes.

He is survived by his sister, Joy Dixon and husband Michael of Fallston.

A memorial service will be planned at a later date.
