David Harlan Williams, 69 of E. Double Shoals Road, Lawndale passed away
Monday, June 19, 2017 at his residence.

Born June 19, 1948 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late John Frank
Williams and Ruby Elizabeth Camp Williams. He was retired from Drexel
Furniture. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church and the
American Quarter Horse Association. Harlan retired from the N.C. Air
National Guard and also served in the US Army.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Burl Dean
Williams and recently preceded in death by his wife of 46 years, Rita
Heavener Williams whom he couldn't live without.

Survivors include two daughters, Katrina Cogdell of Blacksburg, SC and
Brooke Notarianni and husband, Joseph of Greer, SC; four grandchildren,
Muriel Cogdell, Chad "C.J." Cogdell, Giovanni Notarianni and Madison
Notarianni; a brother, John Kelly Williams of Lawndale; three sisters,
Bernice Williams of Delight, Audrey Ellis of Shelby and Lynette Hoffman of
Fallston.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral

Chapel with Rev. Jackie Price officiating.

Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston
