David Rocky Newton, 37, of 106 Warlick Street, Casar, passed away Saturday
January 21, 2017 in Mobile, AL.

Born August 17, 1979 in Cleveland County, he was a son of Teresa Lynn Newton
Brackett and fiance, Glenn Brackett of Casar and the late Richard David
Brackett. He was a construction worker.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step -
grandfather, Gerald Hoyle.

In addition to his mother and fiancee, he is survived by twin daughters,
McKayla and McKenzie Newton of Burke County; brother, Trent Crane of Casar;
sister, Brittany Crane of Casar; niece, Madison Crane; nephews, Jayden Ross,
Tytus and Landon Sydnor and Christian Crane; grandparents, Wayne and Nell
Brackett of Casar and Marie Hoyle of Casar; numerous aunts, uncles and
cousins and lots and lots of special friends and his dog, Rush.

The visiation will be 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger
Funeral Home, Fallston

The funeral service will be 2:00 PM, Sunday at Casar United Methodist
Church with Rev. Homer Tessneer officating.

Burial will follow in Casar United Methodist Church Cemetery.
