Junior Youth of the Year Award
The Junior Youth of the Year Award was presented to three-year Club member Samantha Davis who has been active in both the After-School Program and the Jack & Ruth Schweppe Summer Day Camp Program. Samantha is a seventh grader at Pinnacle Classical Academy where she is an Honor Student. Samantha is a regular leader and volunteer at the Club and demonstrates a positive attitude among her peers. She is the daughter of Odona Davis. In addition to her award, she was presented with a $50 gift card compliments of the Boys & Girls Club Board of Directors.

The Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland County held its Annual Awards Banquet and program at the Episcopal Church of the Redeemer in Shelby on Friday Evening, April 8, 2016. Board President Jack Weller was Master of Ceremonies for the evening, which honored many of last year's volunteers, supporters and participants in the Club's programs.
Located at 412 West Sumter Street, Shelby, the Boys & Girls Club of Cleveland County serves more than 400 local children and their families. The Club's mission is to enable all children in our community, especially those who need help the most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens.
