Deanna Braswell Ledford, 82, passed away on October 24, 2025, at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital. Born in Avery County on February 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Henry Ford Braswell and Imogene Hamrick Braswell.

Deanna was a devoted member of Pleasant City Church, where she deeply cherished her church family. She especially loved caring for her beloved granddaughter, Aliyah, and found great joy in spending time with her.

She is survived by her husband of 65 years, James Maynard Ledford; her son, Mike Ledford; and her granddaughter, Aliyah Ledford. She is also survived by her sisters, Betty Mull (Cle) and Jenene Philbeck (Wayne), sister-in-law, Betty Bridges (Glenn), along with many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Pleasant City Church in Shelby, with Pastor Bryan Glisson and Johnathan Glisson officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the church sanctuary.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Deanna's memory to Pleasant City Church.
