Deborah Lynn Baynard Royal, 61, of Hephzibah, Georgia, wife of Michael Royal, entered into rest Monday, August 12, 2021, at her residence.

Deborah, the daughter of Sammy Baynard and the late Cora Lee Tessinear Baynard, was born in Rutherford County. She was a retired Educator for the Richmond County Board of Education.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter Kimberly Foster (Brian); her grandchildren, Dayton, Jaidyn, Kingston, London, Cannon; her stepchildren, Becky Gullage (Joshua) and their children Tobias and Peyton and Ricky Royal (Jess), her brothers Richard Baynard (Dawn), James Eric Baynard (Hollee).

The funeral service will be conducted at 3:00 pm on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at Sulphur Springs Baptist Church with Reverend Ethan Gardner officiating. Interment will follow in Rutherford County Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
