Debra H. Grigg, 68 of Shelby, passed away February 8, 2023.

She was the daughter of Harvey and Betty Graham Hullender. In addition to her father, Harvey Hullender, she is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Charles A. Grigg. She is survived by her mother, Betty Graham Hullender, daughter Sabrina Grigg, sons Robert Carl Grigg and Charles A Grigg, Jr. She is also survived by a brother R.W. Hullender (Deborah) and sister, Janie P. Hullender. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Kenneth Grigg, Chasity Grigg, Blaine Galloway, Schylar Grigg, Stetson Grigg, and Abigail Colon.

Debra and her husband Charles were active with the Piedmont Shrine Club and they were awarded Shriners of the year in 2016. She was also awarded Lady Shriner of The Year in 2022.

A memorial service for Debra will be held 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the chapel of Cecil M. Burton Funeral Home and Crematory. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service with Dr. Barry Goodman officiating.

In Lieu of flowers the family has requested that memorial donations be made to the Shriners Hospital of Greenville, SC or the Masonic Children's Home of Oxford, NC.
