Denise Anne Nichols Stover

Denise Anne Nichols Stover (52) of Boiling Springs, NC has, after her more than seven years battling cancer, departed her earthly home for her heavenly one on Friday, May 29th, 2020.

Denise was born January 24, 1968 in Fairfax County, Virginia to the late Ralph Edward Nichols and Faye Matheney Nichols.

Denise graduated from Gwinnett Technical College with a degree in interior design. She was gifted with may artistic abilities and always had an eye for design. She made a name for herself as a designer spending her professional life in the retail and service industry making people's lives more beautiful. Her absolute passion in life was art and design and one walk through her many craft areas would show that. There was never an absence of projects for Denise to work on whether it be at her own home or the home of someone she loved. She would consistently go out of her way to help others with any artistic endeavor, often doing it for them.

Denise was known to be a loving mother and grandmother. Her children and grandchildren were the grandest designs in her life, and she loved every fun filled moment spent with them. She loved to do things and provide for all her children without any regard to her own wants. She love d to throw big parties for children and would always adjust her plans to make them happy. Whether it was the pool, the beach, or just a bonfire, she always tried to enjoy life with those she loved. Denise loved to be loved and was always loved by all.

Denise will always be cherished and is preceded by her loving husband of 25 years (Mr.) Brian Raymond Stover; two children, Lester Burt of Huntsville, AL and Chelsey Nichols of Forest City, NC; four grandchildren, Aiden, Wyatt, Lela, and Lucas; four bonus grandchildren, William, Adrinna, Hunter, and Serenity; a brother and two sisters, Scott Nichols, Alyssaa Parris, and Onalee Hales; five close nieces and nephews, Emily, Hewett, Emma, Hosanna, and Selah. Also missed by loyal dog Rock.

Denise would always want the people around her to be happy and celebratory. There will be a Celebration of Life at Zimmerwald Estate Barn and Grainery at 1001 Romey Campbell Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040 on Saturday, June 6th at 1:00 pm.

Floral arrangements may be delivered to the home at 640 McBrayer Homestead Road, Shelby, NC 28152 or donations may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation or the Hospice of Cleveland County.
