Dennis Blake Willis, 58 of Hoyle Road, Vale, passed away peacefully on July 17, 2025 at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory.

Born on April 11, 1967 in Catawba County, NC he was a kind and compassionate man, and his memory will be treasured by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He spent his working years at Hickory Leather, where his work ethic left an indelible mark on his colleagues. Dennis was a member of Laurel Hill United Methodist Church.

His life was a testament to the power of love, as evidenced by his adoring family. Dennis was a devoted husband to his wife, Daresa Dorsey Willis; his children, Brandon Willis and partner, Taylor Holstein, of Taylorsville and, Madison Billings and her husband, Andrew, all of Taylorsville; grandchildren, Oliver Billings and Harlow Willis who were the light of his life, and his legacy will undoubtedly live on through them. He is also survived by his loving sisters, Karen Doolitte of Vale and Renee Jenkins, along with her husband, Jason, of Taylorsville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

The funeral will be 2:00pm on Monday, July 21, 2025 at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Forrestene Sain officiating.

Burial will follow in the Laurel Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
