Dennis Dean Goins, age 62, resident of Kings Mountain, went to be with the Lord on September 6, 2015. He was born in Cleveland County to the late Jack Goins. He was also preceded in death by his two sons Steve and Jamie Johnston and two brothers Gene Goins and William Tesner. He was a good man, loving husband and father and grandfather and will be greatly missed by many. He loved to shoot pool at Friendly Billiards where he was a co-owner until he could no longer play due to his courageous battle with throat cancer. He was a mentor to several young boys and proudly served in the United States Army.

FUNERAL SERVICE: Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel, Kings Mountain Thursday September 10, 2015 at 4 PM. Rev. Greg Neely, officiating.

VISITATION: Family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 prior to the service at Harris Funeral Home, Inc. Kings Mountain, NC
