Dennis L. Greene, 83, of Shelby, passed away peacefully Friday, February 7, 2025, at Wendover Hospice of Shelby, NC.

He is the son of the late Verne and Nelle Greene. Dennis was a faithful member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 58 years, Edna M. Greene, daughter, Angie Greene of Shelby, granddaughters; Casey Greene of Shelby and Emma Greene of Shelby, great granddaughter, McKinley Swofford of Shelby.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Richard, Sam, Bennie, and sister, Katherine.

At the request of Dennis there will be no services. Donations may be made in his honor to Wendover Hospice 951 Wendover Heights Dr. Shelby, NC 28150
