Dennis Walter Towery, Jr., a devoted husband, father, son, and brother went to his heavenly home on Saturday, July 10, 2021.

Born in Cleveland County, on September 2, 1971, he was a son of Dennis Walter Towery, Sr. of Lawndale and the late Betty Lou Brackett Towery. He was employed at Ferguson as an Autocad designer. Dennis especially adored his children. Dennis was a longtime member of the Enola Gay Band where he was a singer, song writer and bass player. He had a deep faith in his Lord Jesus Christ and was a member of Lawndale Baptist Church. Dennis was extremely well read, enjoyed science and was an avid NASA enthusiast.

He will be remembered as a man who was loving, patient and forgiving, and only spoke on matters after giving them much thought.

In addition to his father, he is survived by his wife of twenty-one years, Kathleen Brown Towery; son, Perry Towery; daughter, Jesse-Rachel Towery; brother, John Towery and wife Jessica; nephew, Jude Towery; niece, Ivey Towery all of Lawndale; and numerous loving extended family members.

The family will receive friends on Friday, July 16, 2021, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, at Lawndale Baptist Church.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Friday, at 2:00 pm at Lawndale Baptist Church.
