Diane Keeter Phillips, age 71, of Henrietta, NC, died Monday, July 16, 2018 at her residence.
Born September 27, 1946 in Rutherford County, she was the daughter of the late Jessie Lee Keeter and Louise Hawkins Keeter. She worked in textiles for many years and was a member of Spindale Fellowship Holiness Church. Diane enjoyed doing yard work and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of forty-seven years, Jimmy Allen Phillips; two sisters, Janice Downey and Cynthia Bostic and a brother, Darill Keeter.
Those left to cherish her memory include one daughter, Anita Rich and husband, Jeffrey of Bostic; one son, Tim Phillips of Henrietta; six grandchildren, Jeremy Parker and wife, Ashley, Tyler Parker, Dallas Rich, Kylie Rich, Jessica Phillips and Marcus Phillips; five great-grandchildren Dylan Parker, Trent Parker, Aaiyden Swepson, Jax Swepson and Mason Parker. She is also survived by one brother, Alan Keeter and wife, Carla of Forest City and by several nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Ernie Cole officiating. Interment will follow in Holly Springs Baptist Church Cemetery on a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
