Dolly Louise Peeler Greene, 76, of Lawndale, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2026, at Wendover Hospice House in Shelby, NC.

Dolly was born on August 7, 1949, in Cleveland County and was a daughter of the late William Otis Peeler and Vernie Mae Queen Peeler. She was retired from PPG and a member of Lawndale Baptist Church.

Additionally, Dolly was preceded in death by her two brothers, Otis Peeler and Jimmy Peeler; two sisters, Jeanette Marlo and Betty Peeler and three half-sisters.

She is survived by her husband, Perry Michael Greene; and two sons, Brian McAlister and wife Donna of Fallston and Isaiah Greene and wife Eden of Fallston.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 12, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Lawndale Baptist Church.

A memorial service will be Friday, June 12, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Lawndale Baptist Church with the Rev. Randy Willis officiating.
