Dolores Ann Ramos Abdow

Dolores Ann Ramos Abdow, 96, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 27, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on April 2, 1930, in Fall River, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Andrew Ramos and Laura daPointe. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edmond J. Abdow, and her sister, Laura Garcia.

Dolores was a devoted member of St. Mary's Help of Christians Catholic Church in Shelby. She generously gave her time volunteering at local elementary schools, touching the lives of many children in her community.

A woman of many talents, Dolores was a naturally gifted artist and a nationally renowned china painter. She also shared her love of music as a vocalist and pianist. Her passion for horticulture brought her great joy throughout her life.

She is survived by her children, Andrew N. Abdow (Sandra), Marybeth Abdow (Mike), and Amanda Clark (Tim); her sister, Adelina "Addie" Warren; her grandchildren, Jonathan, Hannah, and Drew Clark; and her great-grandchildren, Alayna and Cameron.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at St. Mary's Help of Christians Catholic Church. A rosary service will begin at 10:30 a.m., followed by the funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m.

A committal service will take place at Cleveland Memorial Park immediately following the Mass.
