Blacksburg -- Donald Clark Holcombe, Sr., 73, of 251 Becky Boulevard, passed away Tuesday, February 20th, 2018, at his home.

Born in Greenville, he was the husband of Wanda Irwin Holcombe and the son of the late Roy Lee Holcombe and Dorcus Campbell Holcombe. Mr. Holcombe worked in textiles and was a veteran of the US Army.

In addition to his wife, Mr. Holcombe is survived by three sons, Charles Thomas Pruitt of Shreveport, LA, Rusty Holcombe and his wife, Sarah, of Lincolnton, NC, and Donald Holcombe, Jr. and his wife, Misty, of Boiling Springs, SC; one daughter, Wanda Susanne Holcombe of the home; and nine grandchildren, Carley, Kaylee, Hannah, Madison, Jake, Tessa, and Jaydan Holcombe, Trevor Ball, and Haley Gideon.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, Roy Lee Holcombe, Jr. and Robin Holcombe and his sisters, Judy Milner, Nancy Pilkington, and Debra Holcombe.

The family will receive friends on Friday, February 23rd, 2018, from 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm at Gordon Mortuary, 400 West Cherokee Street, Blacksburg, South Carolina 29702. Graveside services will be held Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Mountain View Cemetery with Rev. Bruce Price officiating. Chris Brooks, Don Holcombe, Jr., Brian Watkins, Rusty Holcombe, Charles Pruitt, and Chad Brooks will serve as pallbearers.
