GROVER: Donald Gold Foster, 72, went to be with his Lord in Heaven, Monday, November 16, 2020, at his home. Born in Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late Ben and Eva Tucker Foster. Donald loved his family and enjoyed hunting and fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sisters, Minnie Lee Arrowood, Janet Gibson, and Betty Ross; and grandson, Steven Foster. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Tilly Foster of the home; sons, Bobby Foster of Grover, Benny Foster of Lincolnton, Stevie Foster and wife Amy of Cherryville; daughters, Penny Thomas and husband Willard of Grover, Catherine Boone of Grover, Sandy Phillips and husband Robbie of Cherryville, Patricia Foster of Bunn, NC; sisters, Joan Sanders and husband Willard and Brenda Patterson, both of Kings Mountain; brother, Franklin Foster of Antioch, SC; and 20 plus grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 1 pm, Friday, November 20, 2020 at East Kings Mountain Church Of God, with Bishop John Heath and Bishop Bobby Callaham officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the Church. Burial will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery.
