Donald James Arthurs, 52, of Kings Mountain, NC, passed away on July 31, 2023 at Atrium Health Main in Charlotte, NC. Donnie was born in Cleveland County, NC, son of the late Jim and Peggy Cooke Arthurs. Donnie was well known in the area and worked as an electrician most of his life. He enjoyed working with his hands, loved wood working and carving intricate crafts. Donnie enjoyed traveling and loved visiting the coast. He was a one of a kind person and will be missed greatly by all who knew him.

SURVIVORS: Daughter Taylor Arthurs and grandson, Haydan Mosteller, both of Grover, NC

MEMORIAL SERVICE: The family will hold a memorial service on Sunday, August 6, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Mt. Whitaker Baptist Church in Blacksburg, South Carolina with Reverend Michael Owens Jr. officiating

VISITATION: Sunday, August 6, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM prior to the service at the church
