Donald Lee Henderson Sr., 84, of 627 Pinehill Drive, passed away Monday, April 19th, 2021, at his residence.

Born in Gaffney, he was the widower of Barbara Matthews Henderson and the son of the late John and Lula Parris Henderson. Mr. Henderson retired from Chapman Concrete and was of Baptist faith.

Mr. Henderson is survived by one son, Donald Henderson Jr., of Chesnee; one daughter, Annette Mullinax, of Chesnee; one step-son, Steven Walker, of Gaffney; and two step-daughters, Wanda Walker, of Gaffney, and Elizabeth Walker, of Gaffney; 11 grandkids; 7 great-grandkids; and 1 great-great grandson.

In addition to his lovely wife, Barbara Matthews Henderson, and parents, John Thomas and Lula Parris Henderson, Mr. Henderson was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur, Dean, and Fred Henderson; four sisters, Sue, Rosie, Jessie, and Jeanelle; and 1 step-son, David Walker., John Henderson - Father, Lula Henderson - Mother, Barbara Henderson - Spouse

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 22nd, 2021, from 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm at Gordon Mortuary of Gaffney 211 E. Frederick St. Gaffney, SC 29340. Funeral services will immediately follow at 1:00 pm with , , and officiating. Interment will follow at Frederick Memorial Gardens. Timmy Mullinax, Chad Wilson, Mike Emory, Randall McKain, Mason Lanham, and Michael Henderson will serve as pallbearers.
