Dr. Donald W. Martin age 81, died Monday, June 8, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare Center-Cleveland. Born in Redland OK, he was the son of the late Clyde Ernest and Kate Virginia Rhoten Martin. Don was a graduate of Southeastern Oklahoma University, The University Oklahoma and The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He taught band, chorus and gave voice lessons in Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Kentucky as well as serving as Minister of Music in several churches in those states. Don loved music and his family.

Don is survived by his wife of 56 years, Suzanne Chasteen Martin; two sons, Mark Martin and Mike Martin and wife Becky both of Pauls Valley Ok; two daughters, Malesa Mitchell of Pauls Valley OK, and Mary Roby and husband Andrew of Shelby NC; a sister, Carolyn Bullock and husband Wallace of Idabel OK.; five grandchildren, Thomas Martin, Micah Prince and husband Branden, Rachel Nall and husband Daniel, David Roby, and Paul Mitchell; and two great grandchildren, Bennett Prince and Karsen Prince.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Flanagan-Watts Funeral Home in Marietta OK. The family will receive friends at the First Baptist Church in Pauls Valley, from 6:00 pm until 7:00 pm, on Friday, June 12, 2015 and also an hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
