Donna Paulette English, age 60, of Mooresboro, passed away Monday, January 4, 2021 at Atrium Health Cleveland Hospital in Shelby, NC.

She was the daughter of the late Donald Ray and Polly Humphries English and a native of Cleveland County. Donna was very involved in missions work and shared that passion in her church. She made several trips to Honduras with her church to minister to the people there. She also served as minister of music at Concord Baptist church and was currently serving as minister of music at Sandy Plains Baptist church. She loved to play the guitar and often shared that gift of music in her church. She often led small bible study groups in her home and also opened her home to take care of family members. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a special aunt Rahama Kirby and her aunt and uncle Joe and Lib Sepaugh.

She is survived by one sister Lisa Murray (Jeff), one brother Reese English (Wendy), special uncle Thomas Kirby and dog Ben of the home, niece Rebecca English, nephew Lucas Murray (Emily), niece Karleigh English, nephew Bradley English, niece Lydia Murray and great niece Kyleigh Davis.

The funeral service will be 11:00 am Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church in Mooresboro with Reverend Chase Robinson and Reverend Travis Laflin officiating. Interment will be at Trinity Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Reese English officiating.
