Donna Sprouse McDaniel, age 59, of Ellenboro, passed away Thursday, April14, 2022 at her residence.

Donna was born Tuesday, July 31, 1962 in Rutherford County to the late John Wilton Sprouse and Catherine Doggett Sprouse. She was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1980. Donna worked as a supervisor at Clearwater Paper in Shelby, NC for many years. She loved spending time at the beach. Donna was a fun-loving person who enjoyed being the "life of the party." She will be forever missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of twenty-eight years, Brian McDaniel; a half-brother, Danny Sprouse and half-sister, Marsha Gail Reid.

Left to cherish fond memories are her sister, Sonya Bagwell of Cane Creek and a brother, Rusty Sprouse of Ellenboro; two half-brothers, Michael Wilton Sprouse of Forest City and Raymond Keith Sisk of Columbia, SC; a brother-in-law, Matthew McDaniel of Ellenboro of Ellenboro. She is also survived by special friends, Barbara Reid, Cindy Snyder and Diane Smith and her beloved fur babies, Taz, Sugar and Bella.

A memorial service will be conducted at 7:00 pm on Monday, April 25, 2022 at the Harrelson Funeral Chapel with Reverend Lynetha Miller officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at the funeral home.
