Donna Ware Putnam, 55, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2020 at her residence .

Donna was born in Mecklenburg Co., NC , on September 13, 1964, she was a daughter of the late James Ware and Bertha Anthony Martin. She was formerly employed by FleetNet America and Travis Knit both in Cherryville. Donna was a member of Second Baptist Church in Cherryville.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Michelle Mull; a brother Van Ware and two sisters, Lisa Ware and Lori Jaskowiak.

She is survived by her husband of 20 years Richard Putnam of the home; stepdaughter, Candace Putnam of Myrtle Beach, SC; brother Mike Ware and wife Vicki; a step sister, Lisa Lucas; step brother, Dwayne Lucas; mother-in-law, Margie Putnam of Cherryville; also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 6, 2020 from 1:45 pm to 2:45 pm, at Second Baptist Church in Cherryville.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, September 6, 2020 at Second Baptist Church with the Rev. Jerry Lail officiating.

Burial will follow the service in the City Memorial Cemetery.
