Ms. Donnise Mitchell, 56, of 309 Juniper Street Kings Mountain, NC passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at her residence. She was born on September 6, 1964 in Cleveland County, NC to Nellie Ruth Lott Mitchell and the late Raymond Mitchell.

Donnise was a 1982 graduate of Burns High School. She furthered her education at Kings College in Charlotte, NC and was currently working towards completion of an Associate's degree. She was employed with Allstate Insurance as a Claims Service Specialist where she had been employed since 2006.

Donnise was a member of Zoar Baptist Church where she was an usher and formerly a trustee. She was a very intelligent and ambitious person with a

vibrant personality. She was a people person and was a true friend to all those who knew her.

In addition to her father, she has reunited with her sister, Linda Farmer.

Left to cherish her memory is her mother, Nellie Lott Mitchell of Shelby; nephew, Timothy Mitchell, Sr. (Presha); niece, Cierra Mitchell both of Shelby; two great-nephews, Timothy Mitchell, Jr. and Jerry Coleman, III and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services for Ms. Mitchell will be private. She may be viewed at S. T. Enloe Memorial Chapel from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM on Sunday, January 17, 2021.
