Doris Ann McMurry, 77, of Eatonton, GA, passed away on Monday, June 02, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center in Athens, GA.

She was born on October 1, 1947, in Cleveland County to the late Paul Edward McMurry and Sedahlia Lydia Willis McMurry. She was retired from Bank of America and was a member of Palm Tree Church. Doris loved to travel and spend time doing crafts.

She is survived buy her two brothers Phillip McMurry and wife Mary Ann of Eatonton, GA and Stephen McMurry and Cindy of Lawndale, NC; five nephews, Keith McMurry (Amber) of Gainesville, GA, Eric McMurry (Laurel) of Eatonton, GA; Nathan McMurry (Summer) of Lawndale, NC, Dustin McMurry (Ashley) of Polkville, NC, and Zachary McMurry of Lawndale, NC; and seven great nieces and nephews, Charlie, Silas, Asher, David, Carlee, Molly and Lillian.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 7, 2025 form 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home, Fallston. At other times the family will be at the home of Stephen & Cindy McMurry, 369 Warlick Road, Lawndale, NC 28090.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM in the Rose Hill Memorial Park, Fallston with the Rev. Danny McNeilly officiating.
