Doris Elizabeth Street Davis, loving wife, mother and grandmother, passed away Sunday, September 1, 2024 at the age of 88.

Born in Cherokee County, SC, on September 8, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Dewitt Street and Ocie Mae Parris Street. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Truman Davis.

Doris is survived by her four children Brian Davis (Lori) of Ft. Wayne, Indiana, Steve Davis of Lawndale, NC, Jon Davis (Cindy) of Yadkinville, NC, Thad Davis (Carol) of Logan, Ohio, as well as, nine grandchildren; Kristen Davis, Jon Tyler Davis, Jared Davis, Seth Davis, Samuel Hormell, Elizabeth Saam, Rebecca Howell, Rachel Davis and Thad William Davis, as well as six great grandchildren and her sister Sherrill Jenkins.

A funeral service will be 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Patterson Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Waters officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
