Ms. Doris Jean Harris Johnson, age 80, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 24, 2015 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. She is predeceased by her parents, Cole and Betty Fox Harris; one sister, Vicky Lorraine Pilkey.
She is survived by her daughter, Alissa Jill Thompson of the home and one brother, Bryan Harris (Diane) all of Grover, NC.
Her greatest love was her Daughter, family and her close friend, Barbara Russell of Bessemer City, NC.
Doris, born on June 7, 1935 in Gaston County, is the oldest of three children and a 1953 graduate of Bessemer City High School. She enjoyed crafts, Plays from local theaters, board and card games.
