Doris Parker Lewis, 83 of Lawndale, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 22, 2021 at Carolina Care Health & Rehabilitation Center, Cherryville.
Born in Toluca, NC on October 26, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Hillard Parker and Vertie Lingerfelt Parker of Lawndale. She was a 1955 graduate of Fallston High School and was a member of Friendly Chapel Baptist Church. Doris worked and retired from Poplar Street Sales. She had a love for cooking, gardening, flowers and pets.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brother, Carroll Parker.
She is survived by her husband, Bobby William Lewis and her daughter, Shannon Webster of Cherryville. Doris is also survived by many life long friends.
Doris will be missed terribly but we find comfort knowing that she is now at peace in Heaven.
A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, January 24, 2021 at 2:00 PM at Friendly Chapel Baptist Church with the Rev. Wayne Key officiating.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
