Dorothy "Dot" Ashley Arrowood, 91, passed away Tuesday October 18, 2022 at Colonial Manor in Rutherfordton, NC.

Born in Cleveland County on February 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Jacob Brackney "Brack" Ashley and Mary Jane "Janie" Brown Ashley. In addition to her parents, Dot is preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Arrowood and was the last surviving of 5 sisters.

Dot is survived by her son, Jerry Arrowood and daughter Cheri Kay Arrowood, as well as, five grandchildren, seven great grandchild, and two great-great grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2022 at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Rev. Tom Runyon officiating. The family will hold a private interment service in the church cemetery.
