Dorothy Marie Brackett Lee, 96, of Ballpark Road, Lawndale passed away
December 13, 2018 at White Oak Manor, Shelby.

Born August 24, 1922 in Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late
William Sylvester Brackett and Lela Johnson Brackett. She was retired from
Cleveland Mills and was a member of Lawndale Missionary Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas
Owen Lee; an infant son; a sister and brother-in-law, Pearl and Hugh
Cloninger and a brother and sister-in-law, Dwight and Edna Brackett.

Survivors include her daughter, Jatha Lee Austin and husband, Reginald Lane
Austin of Lawndale and a granddaughter, Harley Austin Bailey and husband,
Alex Bailey of Blacksburg, SC.

The family would like to give a special thanks to White Oak Manor and
Hospice Cleveland County for their care and support.

Visitation will be 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral
Home.

A funeral service will be 11:00 AM, Saturday at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home
Chapel with Rev. Harry Queen officiating.

Burial will follow in Palm Tree United Methodist Church Cemetery.
