Dot Williams Brown

ELLENBORO: Dot Williams Brown, 86, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2018, at Atrium Health in Charlotte. Born in Gainesville, GA, she was the daughter of the late Dock and Mary Lou Elizabeth O'Dell Williams. Dot was a devoted and faithful member of Campfield Memorial Baptist Church, where she loved her church family. She graduated from Boiling Springs High School in 1950. In 1963, to present day, she sold Avon, where she enjoyed creating meaningful relationships with people. Dot loved to play Bingo, and was known for her giving and generous heart.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Willis H. Brown Jr., her twin brother, Donald, and other brothers, Lonnie, Marvin, and Johnnie Williams.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Anne Billingsley and husband Mike of Ellenboro; son, Bruce Brown and wife Linda of Mooresboro; brother, Larry Williams and wife Barbara of Shelby; sisters, Linda Worthey and Beck Licht, both of Shelby; grandson, Steven Brown of Cliffside; and special friends and neighbors, Grace Blanton and George and Alice Pearson, who showed her so much love and care.

FUNERALSERVICES: Funeral services will be held 4pm, Friday, October 12, 2018, at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church. The family will receive friends from 2:30pm-4pm, in the church, prior to the service.

OFFICIATING: Rev. Scott Huffman

BURIAL: Will follow in the church cemetery
