Douglas William Cook, 66 of Cook Road, Casar passed away, Wednesday, August
8, 2018 at Hospice at Wendover.

Born February 3, 1952 in Cleveland County, he was a son of the late J.D.
Cook and Vernett Turner Cook. He was retired from Spake Concrete and was a
member of Morris Memorial Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Joyce Bumgarner Cook; son, Bryan
Cook and wife, Bonnie of Casar and daughter, Kristie Wellmon and husband,
Jacob of Casar; four grandchildren, Abbie, Mason, Aimee and Jace and two
brothers, Larry Cook and wife, Carol of Casar and Rev. Tommy Cook and wife,
Stary of Casar.

Visitation will be 11:00AM to 12:30PM, Saturday at Morris Memorial Baptist
Church.

A funeral service will be 1:00 PM, Saturday at Morris Memorial Baptist
Church with Rev. Chris Emory, Rev. Landon Rice and Rev. Tommy Cook.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
