Duck Dynasty... ”Jamaican Style”!
In order to be awarded their Showman Activity Badge, three members of the Boy Scout Troop 101, at First Baptist Church in Shelby, wrote and directed a Jamaican version of the popular television show Duck Dynasty. Using and dressing their own stuffed animals from home, the one act play was performed for their fellow Cub Scouts on March 10th. Their play was entitled “Flamingo Dynasty”. Pictured are the three Cub Scouts getting ready to perform, (l to r)  Austin Tessneer, Hanson Barnhill, and Aiden Lail. Keeping a professional approach to the project, the one act play was written by Aiden and directed by Austin. The cast director had to be Hanson. The surprise water spray at the conclusion of the play was, shall we say,  a “blessing”.
