Earleen Bingham Grayson, 93, of Shelby, passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 at Atrium Health - Cleveland, Shelby.

Born in Cleveland County, on June 8, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Everette Arthur Bingham and Lula Jane Eaker Bingahm. She was retired from Shadowline and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Mrs. Grayson spent many hours in the garden growing flowers but what she loved more than anything was spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William Toy Grayson; a son, James Bruce Grayson; grandsons, Lee Robert Grayson, Billy Grayson and Skyler Day; three sisters, Annie Mae Bingham, Waynell Costner and Mary Frances Bingham.

She is survived by two sons, Wayne Grayson and wife, Catherine of Shelby and Gene Grayson of Shelby; two daughters, Jane Grayson of Charlotte and Cynthia Grayson of Shelby and fiancé Tommy Richards; brother, EA Bingham of Kings Mountain; three grandchildren, Hope Grayson Ryan, April Grayson Moses and husband, Nelson and John Grayson Dwiggins and four great-grandchildren, Casey Ryan, Hunter, Miller and Mabry Moses.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 8, 2023 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 2:00pm at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Jimmy Black and Rev. Toby Bird officiating.

The burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
