Eddie Garlan Jennings, age 71, of Caroleen, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills.

Eddie was born Friday, May 5, 1950 in Rutherford County to the late Eddie Thomas Jennings and Nellie Goode Jennings. He was a graduate of Chase High School, class of 1968. Eddie worked in textiles for several years and worked as a deli clerk at Ingles. He was a member of the Caroleen Congregational Holiness Church, enjoyed raising chickens, taking care of his pets and gardening.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Joe Jennings and a sister, Burnette Craig.

Those left to cherish his memory include three nephews, Michael Jennings of Ellenboro, Eddie E. Jennings of Caroleen and Joel Jennings of the Chase Community.

No formal service will be conducted.
