Eddie Gene McSwain, 58 of McMurry Road, Kings Mountain, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Atrium Health - Kings Mountain.

Born in Cleveland County, NC on August 22, 1964, he was the son of the late Edgar Burl McSwain and Iva Elizabeth Williams McSwain. Eddie was employed by Imerys in Kings Mountain.

Survivors include his uncle, Samuel Williams and wife, Gail of Kings Mountain; two aunts, Bertha Henson of Kings Mountain and Ruth Cook of Shelby; several cousins and a special bird, Robert.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm at Stamey-Tysinger Funeral Home.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, September 30, 2022 at 10:00 am at Wallace Grove Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Macaw Rescue and Sanctuary, 34032 NE Lake Joy Road, Carnation, WA 98014.
