Eddie Jerry Ruff, Sr., 66, passed away Sunday may 24, 2015 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Haywood county, he was the son of the late Roy Chester and Dortha Lee Ruff. He worked many years in textiles and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing and enjoyed watching television in general.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one brother, Ray Ruff; two sisters, Ellen Smith, Ola Locust.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife Lillie Childers Ruff of the home; two sons, Eddie Ruff, Jr. and his partner, Justin Clark, Thomas Ruff and fiancé Yonnie Sifers; one daughter, Kim Sheppard all of Kings Mountain; two sisters, Edna Fletcher and husband Steve and Betty Reynolds also all of Kings Mountain; one brother, James Ruff and wife Sharon of Monroe, NC; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 12:00 pm Friday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Thursday, 7:00 - 8:30 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.
